About Rufford Learning Events
Building on the success of the Rufford Conference programme (2012-2022), Rufford Learning Events focus on needs-based capacity building, networking and support for next-stage Rufford Small Grant applications. Events are designed and delivered by local facilitators and trainers so themes and specific topics for learning will vary depending on the needs of grantees in each location. The Rufford Foundation support will include funding of the event, advice on scheduling and delivering sessions at the events. In addition to learning, our aim is to support follow-up applications for next-stage Rufford Small Grants and to build trusting relationships between Rufford and grantees. Our target will be to fund and participate in at least three Learning Events each year.
