“Science for a Purpose” is the First Rufford Conference organized in Nicaragua, and was held in San Juan del Sur between 06-09 of February 2022. Association ELI-S organized this conference to share the knowledge of Rufford grantees among grantees but also to the general public and national authorities by in-site invitation and by sharing the conference on online platforms such as Youtube, Facebook and on Zoom reaching 752 persons online. The location was at Centro de Ocio in the harbour of San Juan del Sur.
