A Marine World for Conservation Program Involving Children, with Focus on Sharks and Rays at Livingston, Guatemala

This project is about the importance of sharks and rays in the ecosystem. Principally because sharks and rays meat is marketed in some Caribbean coastal communities. The main of this project is to change child perception associated with the consumptive use of sharks and rays. Through educational material like painting murals, field trips and a colouring book with activities about sharks and rays children generates knowledge and change their perspective about this organisms.
