Study on Male Sulawesi Crested Black Macaque Dominance Style at Tangkoko-Batuangus Nature Reserve, North Sulawesi, Indonesia

This study will be done on the male dominance style of two identifiable groups of Black Macaques at the Tangkoko – Batuangus Nature Reserve. The group will aim to determine the dominance style of the male and the interactions between the males. Several local students will be involved in this study and from the result the team will carry recommendations to the management authority of the nature reserve on how to manage the population of the Black Macaque.

In addition, the result will be presented to the management authority, universities, young researchers, local guides and will be published in national or international publications. During the study, several students of Sam Ratulangi University in Manado, North Sulawesi will be involved.
