This project aims to help save two of Seychelles' unique bird species, the Seychelles Fody and Seychelles Warbler, both listed as globally threatened. We will establish new populations by translocating birds to Denis island.

The project will also bring ecotourism benefits to Denis Island, a Seychelles-owned resort which has already taken steps to improve its environment through the eradication of alien predators and improvements to native forest habitats.

This project aims to become and international flagship for future reservations, principally because it will allow the Seychelles Fody to be removed from the list of globally threatened species through direct conservation action.
