Through field surveys at key saline and alkaline lakes, the research will assess breeding success, identify critical habitats, and evaluate human-induced pressures such as overgrazing and habitat disturbance. The project also includes community engagement and education to promote local stewardship. Findings will be used to inform conservation strategies and guide future protection efforts for this little-known species.
