Sunkoshi River Nature Park – SRNP and Environment Information Centre provides environmental education and experience based learning to school, college and university students as well as several shippers and learners. There is no any nature park or information centre within the accessible surroundings where students, teachers and learners can learn about nature, natural habitat and environment issues. The development of SRNP offers a huge opportunity to promote wetland environment where several wetland species of fishes, water ducks, snakes etc have been living. It develops visitor centre or Information Centre to promote how through the conservation of habitats of Sunkoshi, people can benefit themselves.

The key focus of project will be in developing an educational programme for the numerous local schools, offering excellent field educational opportunities. The development of one of the few green rural spaces within the Sunkoshi corridor will offer a unique visitor experience where several visitors, shippers and others will be able to walk and enjoy Wetland Species, Wildlife and habitats. These activities will be also helpful to the villagers who are living surrounding this wetland. They can generate more income from the shipper or tourist so that they may leave existing profession like fishing and bird hunting in the wetland.
