Most Organization is nongovernmental, non-profit organization dealing with the protection of the environment, and the implementation of the local ecological action plan - whose goal is to improve the environment protection, maintain the biodiversity and develop population’s ecological conscience.

Last year, the pilot project was started – White Stork nest mapping on the territory of Municipality of Gradiska – with which we began our first activities to protect biodiversity in the local community. Project frame also include concrete activities aimed to conserve the protected floodplains that are marked as “Močvarna Posavina” in the city's spatial planning.

Main goal of the project is to establish White Stork monitoring in the region, to protect their nests and to educate population on biodiversity and protected floodplains along the Sava River. First specific goal is to establish the monitoring of White Storks on the territory of Municipality of Gradiska, and to determine the exact number of White Stork pairs and the exact number of nests. Secondary goal is to conduct an analysis of the most endangered nests, on the basis of the monitoring. Third goal would be the inclusion of the local community in the monitoring process and their education on White Storks and the protection of biodiversity.

On the basis of the monitoring the endangered nest would then be lifted on nest carriers, which will eventually lead to the increase of the population of White Storks. Along with the education, the number of nests destroyed by the local population would decrease, and they would have more responsible approach to the preservation of the environment. Also this type of education would raise awareness of the local community, young people in particular, on the importance of conservation of biodiversity. All of the results would create a long-term effect on the conservation of biodiversity.
