This project looks at the in land problems of this region - bird hunting, infrastructure developing, mangrove converse of fish exploring, mangrove cutting down trees for industry development.

This region is all along the coast in North Sumatra, near the border of Aceh, Belawan to the east. This region include Karang Kading Wildlife, eastern langkat, Bagan Percut, Ular River, and Cermin Beach. Administratively these places are in the regency Langkat and Deli Serdang in North Sumatra province, and are in 3°28’N 99°16’E with 207, 625 ha, with wetlands habitat type.

From the latest Wibowo and Suyatno’s important species of waterbird in 1998. Limnodromus Semipalmatus, Numenius Madagascariensis Mycteria Cineria, Leptotilos Javanicus, Ardea Sumatrana, Threskiornis Melanocephalus and Larus Ridibundus. This is the only the lilest survey data in 1998 while the newest data of this hasn't been approved right about the destruction of land and the newest species of waterbird.
