The project aims to assess Mammal biodiversity in Lukwika Lumesule Game and Mbangala Forest Reserves in Southern Tanzania in order to enhance their conservation status.

Conservation of the Ladoga seal population, Russia

This project is aimed to support a long-term conservation programme for the Ladoga ringed seal (Phoca hispida ladogensis).

This project aims to assess the abundance, distribution and conservation status of the endangered African wild dog in the Zimbabwean part of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area. The relative importance of the key conservation threats (population isolation, bushmeat snaring, prey and habitat depletion, disease risk and an increasing lion population) will be determined and possible solutions investigated.

Mountain Bongo Community/School Wildlife Clubs

The aim of the Mountain Bongo Community/School Wildlife Clubs is to conserve and protect this critically endangered sub species of Bongo, by working together with local communities and schools.

Support and strengthen established herder’s communities.

During implementation of the first RSG project it was clearly evident that the water supply for both domestic and wild life is the most essential and priority issue for the area. The problem requires urgent solution and we plan to repair and equip at least one hand operating well for livestock, restore and rehabilitate open spring water for wildlife in the community managed area.

The Transboundary Project for Swamp Deer Conservation in Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Nepal (A Project among the Communities of Tatargunj Area of India and Beldandi Area of Nepal)

This project is based on following objectives: 1. Creating awareness among obliterating groups in both Nepalese and Indian communities about importance of swamp deer conservation for their living. 2. Promotion and strengthening of anti-poaching activities in the target area.

Scaling out/up environmental education and awareness campaign in fighting against poaching of threatened wildlife species and environmental degradation on the Zambian side of Kasungu Wildlife Reserve through community participation, Malawi

This project aims to address adverse wildlife and environmental problems that are being experienced on the Zambian side of Kasungu Wildlife Reserve through promoting environmental education and community participation.

Ranger and community-based monitoring of biodiversity in the Udzungwa Mountains of Tanzania

The project aims to contribute to ecosystem protection in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park by establishing a biodiversity monitoring programme that effectively involves rangers and the local communities.
