In 2010/11, The Rufford Foundation provided a grant of £1,500 to UCanDoIT.

UCanDoIT is the only charity in the UK to realise that through home access to computer technology, greater degrees of independence can be achieved by blind, deaf and/or physically disabled people. To date, we have supported over 3,500 disabled people with our one-to-one specialist home training.

The basic requirement for our training is simply a computer. Unfortunately, many of our applications are from people on severely restricted budgets who cannot afford a computer, let alone the software that is required for them to access it. The Rufford Foundation has generously supported these applicants with the provision of recycled computers and equipment since 1995.
