In 2010/11, The Rufford Foundation provided a grant of £3,000 to Happy Days. The funds will be used to help 26 children from Berkshire who have moderate or severe learning difficulties; they will be going with 20 carers to Thorpe Park on 15th August 2011.
Happy Fays also hopes to help two other families. A family from the West Midlands have been offered a holiday. The young girl has complex medical problems and the family are in hardship.
Deyfan, aged 6, from Wrexham has Chromosome 8 deletion, ADHD, Nystagmus and Congenital Heart Disease. Happy Days has also offered this family a holiday.
